Our 5 Mil Gloss Thermal Laminating Film is a polyester base layer film with a low-melt co-polymer adhesive. Low-melt adhesive films activate at a lower temperature and have a more aggressive adhesive than homopolymer film. Using a lower temperature reduces wear on your laminator and may allow you to laminate at a faster rate. Low-melt films are commonly referred to as Nap-Lam II. To ensure a lamination film is a match with your laminator, check that the core size, film width, film thickness and heat settings are compatible prior to ordering. The temperature may need to be higher when laminating thicker media or substrates on a continuous basis.
