The Libra track is a high-quality metal stud partitioning system that is designed to provide a sturdy and durable partitioning solution for commercial and residential construction projects. It is made from heavy-duty steel that is engineered to withstand the rigours of everyday use and is available in a variety of sizes to suit any project. The system is easy to install and can be used on walls, partitions, and ceilings to form a framework that easily includes gypsum based plasterboards. Libra stud and track is a non-lead bearing application. The Safety Edge is a feature which helps to reduce the risk of injury when handling and using the stud. The edge is angled slightly to reduce the risk of cuts, scrapes or other injuries caused by sharp edges. It also helps to provide a better grip when handling the stud, reducing the risk of slipping. Libras studs have a knurled face to assist straight screw penetration when fixing wallboards with drywall screws; this allows the contractor to complete drywalls with the minimum amount of effort. The knurled face of the Libra stud helps to reduce the amount of force needed to drive the screw into a wallboard. The grooves on the face help to create small pockets of air that allow for less friction and easier penetration. This makes it easier for contractors to quickly secure wallboards in place with minimal effort. Additionally, the knurled face helps to keep the screw from slipping out when it is being driven in, ensuring that it is securely fastened in place.
