Procheck® A2 by the Proctor Group is a high-performance, non-combustible vapour and airtight membrane designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of modern construction. This premier vapour control layer (VCL) is engineered to provide an exceptional barrier against moisture while making a limited contribution to fire. The unique composition of Procheck A2 – a pure aluminium foil and clear lacquer coating on a glass fibre backing – affords the membrane its Class A2 performance as well as giving it a high degree of vapour controlling properties. This market-leading product delivers both superior fire safety and robust vapour control. Key Features  Superior Fire Safety: Achieves a fire classification to BS EN 13501-1 of A2-s1,d0. This VCL's Class A2 performance ensures it is suitable for use in high-risk buildings and wherever a non-combustible layer is specified. Exceptional Vapour Control: The integral foil layer creates a vapour tight barrier, offering high vapour resistance to effectively manage condensation risk and protect the building structure. Enhanced Thermal Performance: Features a low emissivity surface which, when the membrane is installed with a service cavity, provides enhanced thermal resistance of the associated airspace. This improves the overall thermal performance and can be factored into U-value calculations.
