Featuring a graphite-based intumescent lining material, Protect FR service transit expands upon heating to effectively seal voids, maintaining the required fire classification. It is certified for use with a wide range of materials, including PVC-U, SAN PVC, PP, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, and AB pipes, as well as a variety of cables. The Protect FR service transit is available in three different lengths, allowing for flexibility depending on the thickness of the supporting construction. It can be installed fitted several ways; cast in concrete, friction fitted in concrete, masonry or gypsum, or inserted in larger apertures with Protecta FR Acrylic, FR Board or EX Mortar. This product is particularly suitable for installations in tight spaces, ensuring comprehensive fire protection even in challenging conditions.
